Get to know Indie Midwife Annie!

Hello everyone and thank you for visiting my page! I am a mother to my two girls, wife to my childhood sweetheart and midwife based in Hampshire. I was born and raised in Hampshire and now live in a small village with my beautiful family and cavapoo Poppy!

I trained as a midwife at the University of Surrey and qualified in 2015. I knew it was my forever career early on in life and I haven't looked back. I have worked in two NHS trusts and have spent most of my career in the community setting due to my deep passion and joy of building relationships with families.

This love has flourished further since becoming the lead midwife for a fantastic NHS specialist homebirth team, passionate about facilitating physiological birth and providing true informed choice. I've found my calling.

I am moving into independent practice to really prioritise what I know is important and that is having the time with families, having true continuity of care and all without time restrains or external pressures.

​
